How to Make a Good Facebook Page

Social Networking is now used by (almost) everybody with different set of devices. People use simple Cell Phones, Smart phones, Laptops, Notebooks, iPads, etc.

People get connected and consume a lot of information on a daily-basis from Facebook. It's because of this that it's a good tool to share and inform your consumers. However, if you have a just a simple Facebook fan page people don't look at this and don't become fans. A good idea is to improve the subscriptions (also known as fans!) you must to differentiate from the others: you must personalize your page. Now I'll show you some ways to do that from the available tools in Facebook:

Create An Ipad App

Customize your profile image The profile image is the first thing people will notice in their friends pages - and yes, this can lead to you! The maximum size of the picture is 200x600 so you have a lot of space to put your customized image. A lot of people use an image with the background of Facebook on top, but it doesn't work very well - I'm not sure why.. Use HTML pages with FBML Using a custom HTML page as a landing page is a good idea to attract more fans to your page. This can be very customizable (of course you have to had the surrounding facebook style but it creates a very nice style). FBML Application can be found here. Some quick tips to create your tabs and code: First, you must set a name for your tab by clicking on FBML tab and edit the box you need. Then, you put your custom HTML code. You can set this page as default landing page, editing page settings and going to Wall Settings and default landing page for everyone else. Use Applications - because they're your friends! Facebook has a lot of applications that can make your job easier, and your page better! I'll show you some of my preferred ones: Social RSS Social RSS application enables you to import RSS from your blog, page etc and automatically add it to Facebook. People like to get fresh information, so its a good tool for that. Poll Poll application, as the name says, can make you interact with your fans and get information from them.

Don't forget that exposure is very important to improve your site or business, so use all tools you can have to increase its potential.
