One of the main problems with the Apple operating system used on their mobile devices is that many Developments and Applications are often not released or are severely delayed thanks to some strict restrictions. A great example of this is the absence of Adobe Flash support on the iPhone Application is perfect for iPhone Application has been available for Android devices since version 2.2 of the platform was released nearly two years ago. Users of Apple devices have had a long wait for this feature but first impressions are very good. The iPhone Application uses is very easy to master and presents you with three main choices that you can make directly from the main screen. You can choose to browse either featured or popular programmes and another option lets you filter the results according to which channel the desired programme was originally shown on. There is also a search bar located beneath these three options that allows you to search for a specific title. The BBC also broadcast radio programmes and an icon at the bottom of the screen enables you to search these shows to see if there is one available that may take your fancy.

The BBC iPlayer application has taken a long time to find its way onto the iPhone 4S and now that it has arrived it certainly does not disappoint. Shows look superb on the phones excellent display whilst the interface is one of the most simple that we have ever encountered on any application.
